Machane Berel Tzeirei Hashluchim Winter Camp Announces Staff

Updated: Dec 14, 2019

Excitement is building in homes of Shluchim as Young Shluchim pack their bags and prepare to spend a magical 10 days in the Machane Berel Tzeirei Hashluchim Winter Camp in Lake Worth, FL.

Living the entire year outside of Lubavitch communities, the opportunity to spend time in a warm, chassidishe, fun environment is something these children look forward to all year. For many this is one of a very few opportunities to spend quality time with like-minded friends – fellow Young Shluchim just like them.

“Sholom came home on such a high and has been talking about camp non-stop since,” wrote one parent on her son’s experience. “He had a wonderful time and BH came home so inspired. He went through all of the pictures and told us about each one with so much excitement. I really can't thank you enough for all the time, energy, and attention to detail that went into making camp such an amazing experience.”

Another parent remarked after camp, “My son had an amazing experience, we still hear new stories from the farbrengens, trip, color war, Shabbos and more, he still talks about it. The chayus and yiddishkeit you manage to instill in my son in a week is BH unheard of. A huge Yashar Koach and thank you!”

Excitement is also building at The Shluchim Office, which organizes and sponsors the camp, and they are pleased to announce the Head Staff for the boys division:

Boruch Ceitlin of Montreal, Canada

Mendy Plotkin of Toronto, Canada

Both are chassidishe and talented Head Counselors with several years of experience, and they will be operating under camp director Rabbi Berel Bendet. They have been hard at work for several weeks, planning and organizing an amazing program for the Young Shluchim.

Parents looking to register can take advantage and enroll at youngshluchim.org. The camp dates are 22 Teves - 2 Shevat (January 19 - 28).

Machane Berel Tzeirei Hashluchim Camp is a project of The Shluchim Office, directed by Rabbi Gedalya Shemtov. Rabbi Don Yoel Levy of OK Kosher organization is the main sponsor of this worthy cause.
