Campers arrive at the Girls Session of the Tzeirei Hashluchos Winter Camp of the Shluchim Office with over 150 Young Shluchos joining from all over the world for 10 days of fun, Chassidishkeit and inspiration.
This past Monday, the camp kicked off in Lake Worth, Florida with the Young Shluchos reuniting with old friends and meeting their bunkmates and counselors. The girls look forward to this unique experience all year long, a highlight where they get to spend quality time with girls just like them.
“This is my first year in camp and I was so excited to come,” said Devorah Susskind Young Shlucha to Asheville, North Carolina. “I’m already having a blast! I love my counselors and my bunk, it’s been so fun getting to spend time with my friends I already knew from Shluchim Online School and meeting new ones!”
The girls have been busy with a packed schedule including ropes coursing, art and crafts, swimming, carnivals and bunk activities. Through the many programs and Farbrengens, the girls have been soaking up the inspiration, each growing and gaining in their Hiskashrus and pride as Shluchos.
“It’s been incredible to see each Young Shlucha internalize the Achdus and Chayus that can be felt throughout camp,” shared director Mrs. Mushka Minsky. “The staff’s focus on each individual camper has created a beautiful atmosphere where the girls are really able to connect and be inspired.”
