A group of Askonim and Shluchim led by director Rabbi Gedalya Shemtov are leading the annual fundraiser for the Shluchim Office which will take place this Tuesday, 24 Sivan.

The campaign page TogetherforShluchim.com is open for all to pre-donate now.

The Shluchim Office Campaign Committee released an open letter to the Chabad community worldwide, asking you to join them in this most important effort.

Over 100 Shluchim and Chassidim have already joined and committed to donate $770, $1,800 or more to the moisad’s annual fundraising campaign, and the committee is turning to all Friends, Shluchim and Anash around the world: Please join us with a $770 donation and support this central hub established by the Rebbe to serve the needs of Shluchim.

----

Dear Friends, Shluchim and Anash,

As we approach Chof Ches Sivan, the day the Rebbe and Rebbetzin came to America, and the yom hahilula Gimmel Tammuz, we the Rebbe’s Chassidim and Shluchim come together to strengthen and redouble our commitment to the Rebbe’s shlichus by bringing the Rebbe’s message to every corner of the world with the goal of l’hovi liymois hamoshiach

As you know, it’s this time of year the Shluchim Office holds its annual campaign, which brings in the critical funds needed to ensure the Shluchim Office continues fulfilling the mandate that the Rebbe gave them in a growing and ever-increasing measure: to assist, support and serve as a central hub for the Shluchim and their families.

Ever since its inception, The Shluchim Office has always been devoted to their mission. They are constantly creating innovative projects which respond to the current and changing needs of Shluchim. To name a few:

  • Jewish Insights” classes in 5 languages and used by more than 1,200 Shluchim weekly;

  • A growing student body of 850 Shluchim’s kids learn in Nigri Shluchim Online School;

  • 520 Jewish children from all walks of life learn in Nigri Jewish Online School geared for Jewish kids in small towns;

  • The Shluchim Gemach has issued over $500,000 in interest-free loans for simchas and new cars in response to inflation and rising costs;

  • 126 Chabad preschool directors are members of the Chabad Early Childhood network, many of whom enjoyed a successful and outstanding three-day retreat in Chicago;

  • Free designs are produced each Yom Tov to advertise Shluchim’s events;

  • The in-person Kinus Tzeirei Hashluchim (in both boys' and girls' sessions) hosted this last year over 2,400 Shluchim kids, and an additional 1,400-2,000 Shluchim children joined on Zoom;

  • Machane Rivka and Machane Berel Winter Camp in Florida hosted over 300 kids between boys' and girls' sessions, bringing a tremendous boost and chizuk to the Rebbe’s Kinder, and the list goes on and on.

We will, B’ezras Hashem, be launching the Together for Shluchim campaign this coming Tuesday, 24 Sivan (June 13, 2023) with a goal to raise $500,000 in 36 hours.

We, the Shluchim Office Campaign Committee, turn to you, our fellow Shluchim and Chassidim: Please take this opportunity to fulfill the known hoiro’o of the Rebbe for yom hahilula Yud Shvat - to give tzedoko to a moisad that the Rebbe himself established by the Kinus Hashluchim farbrengen of 5747 to benefit all Shluchim.

We are happy to share that over one hundred and fifty Friends, Shluchim and Anash have already committed to give $770 or more on the day of the campaign. The success of this campaign is dependent on our extended family of Anash and Shluchim.

On the day of the campaign, we will be picking up the phone and asking our friends to participate as well. We invite each of you to join us in supporting the upcoming fundraising campaign at TogetherForShluchim.com with a commitment of $770 or more, or as much as you can give.

In the merit of supporting The Shluchim Office may we all be zoiche to see the fulfillment of the unusual blessings that the Rebbe gave when he spoke about its establishment: “... ensure success in the fulfillment of the Shlichus … and personal success – children, health and sustenance, all in great abundance; healthy children and grandchildren; attaining good shidduchim; and blessings in every possible manner.”
